Sightseeing on the way back to lab

I got up really early to go to a seminar that my officemate was presenting at, it was over at a nearby hospital in a teleconference room because it is a joint seminar with Berlin! I was not expecting that. My officemate did a great job and there were croissants. I walked back with him and another labmate, we cut through the Jardin des Plantes which is really nice! It has a menagerie of sorts, when I walked by before seminar, I saw an ostrich. Later, I saw some wallabies

and part of a red panda!! That was an area you had to pay to get in so I'll have to go back sometime.
