Pretty normal day

My lonely lab bench. I haven't actually worked here yet since I do my egg work and tissue culture in different rooms. Today I inspected embryonic chick wings to see if the beads I grafted onto them yesterday are still there. 50% success rate...or failure rate I suppose. Gonna go with success rate, it was tricky.

Got a sandwich and cappuccino from this place, just across the street from the Jussieu campus.

Essentially the view outside my office window but 5 floors down (actual view is not great since the window is pretty dirty).

Walking home from lab, crossing the bridge with all the locks on it.

Grocery store! I did buy other things than those pictured...
